When I came to Lomonaco Palms I was broken, unhappy and extremely out of balance. I was very anxious and the alcohol and drugs had gotten the best of me and were winning the game.
All I wanted was to be happy, healthy, balanced and I wanted to live a peaceful life. I wanted to wake up each day knowing today was the first day of the rest of my life. I wanted to be as healthy both mentally and physically as possible.
It's quite simple... The staff and Clinical Team here at Lomonaco Palms Rehab welcomed me with open non-judgmental arms. From day One I felt right at home. Not only did I wake up to the sound of the waves breaking, but I was awakened by gentle, calm staff with freshly squeezed juice in-hand.
My day started out great every day and ended even better. Thanks to all my intense yet peaceful therapy and substance abuse help, I was able to gain maintain and put in practice on a subconscious level, all the tools for continued sobriety... I owe my life and peacefulness to these folks. Today, no longer does my stress and anxiety lead to drugs and alcohol. I am able to remain very aware yet calm and relaxed at the same time. I have reached a total state of awareness and acceptance that allows me to succeed in every area of my life.
Lomonaco Palms was definitely the key to my sobriety and I am forever grateful to these awesome people that have allowed me to grab life by the horns every waking day and be happy doing it.
The combination of equine therapy, individual therapy with amazing therapists, very comfortable group therapy, art therapy, garden therapy, physical training and the list goes on therapy, gave me every tool I need not to mention the incredible food prepared for me and customized daily by Chef Ryan. Anything and everything I needed was handed to me along with the proper coachings to put my skills to action.
I had been to treatment before, but Lomonaco Palms Addiciton Rehab is where I was able to really thrive and learn who I was and why I am so important.
When it comes down to it, I came in to Lomonaco Palms unhappy, ungrateful, arrogant and showing no signs of peace. I have left now and I am extremely well adjusted, happy in balance and very peaceful. I owe my life and ongoing sobriety to everyone here.
